Swimming

A sandy beach for swimmers and a boat launch for boating fill out the recreational opportunities at Trout Pond Recreation Area. The Forest Service provides a bath house with showers. A fully developed 50-site campground offers all the conveniences for a wonderful outdoor family outing.

If swimming pools are your favorite cooling off places, these can be found at Lost River State Park, Moorefield Town Park, and Wardensville Town Park.
